Default Freelander Won't always start

I have an 01 freelander. Recently if I go anywhere when I shut it off it won't start back up. If I wait an hour or so it will start right up. I had a similar problem on my Volvo that ended up being a fuel relay. Any Ideas.

fuel pump relay sounds like a good starting point. They can get weak over time and work sometimes and not others. The biggest recommendation I can give is to check the freelander section and see if they have help in the forum, or faq, or search. I am making one presumption and that is that during the start sequence everything else seems ok. It cranks even when it won't start. The other quick thought is the fuel sending unit sensor. hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff

i'm having this exact same problem. i've had a local shop replace a couple different sensors. the next one they want to replace is the cam position sensor. it's going to be like 130 bucks plus labor! i'm going to try to see if the fuel pump relay is actually the problem.
