Default gas cap

Is there a O ring for the gas cap or do you have to replace the entire cap 2003 discovery 11

If the cap has failed, it has to be replaced. Why do you think it is bad?

I think you should replace the entire gas cap for your convenience. Some of the car manufacturers lets say for example, toyota parts are known of having their car parts in sets. And i remember my brother having a damaged gas cap bought a new one.

Thanks mike: I had the wires and plugs replaced and the other code was evap sys : codes were cleared check engine stayed out until a fill up and a day or so later light came back on

If its the cap will the light go out or will it have to be cleared

Before you do anything, go get your codes read so you don't waste a lot of your time and money throwing parts at your truck.
