In case it helps - With extensive help from a friend investigating options, we eventually binned the whole ecu too, as nothing we tried could get the relays within the ecu to respond, and there are just too many unknowns in terms of bus wiring.
We just used the green connector, which connected all the power wires going to the various motors with the ecu. We tested and connected the pairs of motor wires to a bank of five 20 amp reversing window switches (ebay uk item 264437288625 £7.95 for 4), set into a piece of 3mm black plastic, replacing the original switch pack set into the seat trim. I’ll try to attach photos here later. No relays required, just a pos and neg connection to the switch bank via a 20amp fuse.
I have retained 5 controls – seat fwd/ back, back rest fwd back (the two horizontal switches at the front) and then leg bolster height, seat height and head rest height. Some of those could be set with temp wiring and switching while the seat is out and left alone to reduce the wiring and switches required (cutting the holes for the switches can be tricky).
One day I’ll have another look at whether I can get the seats to heat up. If anyone has had success on that front please let us know!

Gents, just about to buy a set of theses seats for an Iveco Daily camper conversion but very nervous about the whole setup having never attempted before. Any help at all in terms of videos/ photos to show setup and wiring would be massively appreciated...
can anyone help me figure out how to wire a range rover discovery 5 seat to a 2019 sprinter van. I'm trying to figure out how to hot wire the seat to a spare battery first just to get the motor moving forward and backwards. If anyone has a digram that would be helpful.
