Was it a good buy??
New to this new LandRover world and I am just looking for a little feedback on my new purchase...2001 Disco II, 105k, very good condition as far as I can tell (little things here and there but I can fix most easily)
My wife had a client that was recently divorced (yes I bought "his truck"!) and she was moving to Boston in a hurry. I do freelance mechanic work and she wanted me to look at it b/c the PS was out. She wanted to fix it and donate it. It was a bad pump and the return line, but she did not want to fool with fixing it after all so I asked her what she wanted for the truck...she said "2,000-1,500". I left and called her back a week later. She was very close to her move date so again, I asked her what she wanted for it, she said $1,000. I went to the bank and came back with cash.
I bought an after market pump and fixed the p/s very easily for less than $300.
A week ago the TC, ABS, and Incline (3 amigos?) lights came on so I now have this to deal with. Is this something that could cause a bigger problem if it is not adressed right away??
Basically, I am not sure that I want to keep the truck yet and I do not want to dump a ton of cash in it if I am not keeping it. I am torn though because I have always liked the trucks and feel like I got a good deal on it.
Any help/suggestions/advice??
Thanks in advance!

That seems like an awesome deal. Congrats! The three amigos are a widely addressed issue in the DII section. Basically it could be anything from brake dust to a bad sensor. Best of luck and welcome to the club.
EASILY the crappiest deal of all time. These things are money pits and are clearly capable of causing a divorce. I'll do you a favor though as you seem like a nice guy; I'll paypal you $500 AND haul it off to spare you the embarrasement and trouble...
