Default HD package on LR3?

Looking at buying an LR3. He sent me this photo of the spare and a photo of the nav screen with "mud ruts" selected.

There's an open lock on the nav screen. I can't tell if the spare is full-size or not...

I'll probably call a dealer tomorrow with a VIN but was wondering if anyone here could tell me what their opinions are about this being an HD LR3...

That's s full size spare.

Also, I have never owned an HD but the fact that it shows the rear diff as unlocked, means(to me) that it locks.

Post in the LR3 section.

I believe this is false - as my RRS and LR3 did not have the HD package (both are LUX w/ all options though) and both display the open diff icon. I believe it's more of an informative icon telling you that the differential is in fact open / unlocked.

The ****ty fact is that you have no control over it all anyways (locking the center OR rear diff) so I don't know how much I'd worry about it anyways lol.

UPDATE -

Ran the VIN by the dealer and it appeared to have a locking diff so I purchased the vehicle.

Took it off-road yesterday and I was able to lock the rear diff (by loosing traction) - so it looks like it does have HD mode.

Seems like the only sure way to check is to run the VIN by the dealer...

Or look for the actuator on the rear diff
