On my 2000 land rover disco II, what is recommended to be replaced in addition to, when I am doing a head gasket replacement?

What head gasket is recommended the composite or other?

Just order the composite kit from AtlanticBritish, it will have everything you need including head bolts.
You might want to also replace the throttle body heater gasket.
Also switch from Dex-Cool to any aluminum safe coolant you want.

make sure you order the upper intake gasket it does not come with the kit, unless it has changed in the last couple of months.

 

Also plan on a new t/stat, coolant cap and 8 mm plug wires.
Do you have a Rave or shop manual to get instruction from?
