Angry Help!!!

Hi!

Thanks to your website and members, i have managed to service, replace shocks and all other manner of parts on my Disco 2. However i am stuck with something that at first i thought would be a simple fix but has turned in to a nightmare from hell. Following a recent MOT fail i was advised the rear (2nd row) passenger seat would not lock into position, I have tried now for some 2-3 hours and have failed miserably, i have wd40'd it, lubed it removed most of, if not all of the mechanism and put it back together, and changed the spring.... All to no avail, it still wont stay in the upright position. I'd appreciate any help of pointers you may have as i am at my wits end and am considering buying a replacement chair!!

Thanks

Chris

Did you by chance make sure that the latch that the seat hooks into is turned the correct way before pushing the seat up into it?
