Default Help Me identify what year this safair is?

Hello All,

I am looking to resuce this rig and need help to understand what i am looking at and what its worth before I negotiate pull the trigger. Its not running but might with a littlw work.

Judging by the front it is a Series II or IIA

I can't tell if it's a Series 2 or very early 2a (assuming the car is unmodified). At the very youngest it would be a '67 or '68.
Series 2 and early 2a's had the mirrors on the wings though as opposed to the Door hinge like in the one pictured.

Top of the pile would be this; 1965 Land Rover 109 (Dealer) - Defender Source

20 - 40k in reliable roadworthy and clean enough for your wife to ride in without fearing for her life shape. It's a "Station Wagon" but I seriously doubt it has 12 seats remaining......

Nice find by the way. Don't see those everyday......... I hope you get the opportunity to get er back on the road.

Assuming a clean title, I've seen Series trucks go from 2000 up to 40k depending on condition. 109's seem to be worth a bit more than 88's. Maybe the best way to look at it is to ask yourself how much it's worth to you as a starting point. 2k seems fair to me as it needs a lot of work.
