HELP!! wires and plugs?!
I have been putting on my new magnecor and bosch +4's...anyway i get to the last wire and it is extremely to short! i tried to redo some of them but cant figure out the problem. I am going off of the diagram in the land rover manual that came with the car. Its a 2002 Discovery 4.0. Does anyone have any diagrams that are easier to read or can anyone explain to me the order of the wires. Thanks.
under discovery forum subsection in the "search term" box at the bottom of the screen
put the words "firing order" in and all the threads on firing order will come up

Thanks, that was just what i was looking for...however, i have more problems...i just re-wired everything and it is running, somewhat. There is a little knock and a rough idle like something is misfiring. my guess was that something was not on tight enough, but i triple checked every wire and plug. Is there something i could of damaged while changing the wires and plugs? I never did this before. Should I take everything off and start over?
Is your check engine light on, if so, go get the codes read.
I have heard a few people mention coming up with a short wire, not sure what to suggest.
Sounds like you may have one crossed wire.

When i used the correct diagram they all fit fine (no short ones). The check engine light was on before because cylinder 4's old wire was cracked. The only code was cylinder 4 misfire. Now that i have changed them it is still on because i will need to get it reset. However, something is still not right cause of the rough idle.
