Hi,
I'm wanting to order a repair kit for my Disco 3 suspension compressor but am not sure if it is Dunlop or Hitachi. I have attached 2 pictures of my compressor and would be grateful if anyone could identify the model.

Both brands look the same. Do they actually sell a kit for each one? My guess would be the rebuild kits are the same.

 

Hi Abran, thanks for your reply. I've found a bit more information since I wrote the post. On the adverts for the kits it says they will only fit either Hitachi or Dunlop. I also found a page that had the main 3 physical differences. One of them is the shape of the piston cover. The Hitachi is flat at the bottom whereas the Dunlop has an extended piece.
Fortunately I've since managed to lift the compressor cover higher and got a picture of the model number which verified it was an Hitachi.
I've got the kit now so let the fun commence.
