Intermittent Rear Shock Deflation
Without and Rhyme or reason my rear drivers side air shock fully deflates and passenger side partially deflates (it's like it tries to compensate maybe because of the leveling system?) then stays flat and without any warning, it will re-inflate again and be fine for a while until something triggers it then it goes flat again. Any idea what may be causing this? I live in ND and it definitely happens more often when the weather gets really cold.
Can anyone possibly shed some light on this?
I also have been researching spring conversion but it doesn't appear there is an EAS override for anything before 2005, is that correct? How do I override the EAS if I do go with the conversion?
Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

check for leaks the same way you do in a tire. soapy water squirt bottle.
could be, bag, lines, valve, or even compressor.
conversion will usually set off a light on the dash. no biggy. I've had that light for a while. dealer visit or someone with a nanocom or other capable device can tell your computer that you are without bags and all is good

If the bags are 10 years old or more they've done well and need changing. LR recommends every 5 years. The bags roll over themselves and often 'self' seal but it's not a fix. Run the offroad lift to jack up the rear and check the bags with water/washing up fluid mixed 50/50 brushed on heavily and inspect for bubbles = leaks. My money is on your air suspension bags being past their useable 'sell by' date. They are easy to swap out and the whole process including painting the top and bottom locations takes 2 hours per side and costs you about $200 in parts in total. Not worth messing about with if they are old or original.

1. Painting the top/bottom? Explanation?
2. Every place I look, it's $150 to $200. Is that per shock or for a set of 2?
Where can I find comprehensive instructions on replacement?
