Default Key and sensor sensitivity (2019 Range Rover HSE Td6)

Question.
Regarding the range of the key fob for both door opening and starting. I've new battery in both fobs, still have to be right up on the door for touch opening, and have to slide forward in the seat to allow it to start sometimes. It will also sometimes let me start it without scooting forwards in the seat, and then tell me it's not detected? Is this normal?
Anyone know if the range can be increased, or the sensitivity of the vehicle be increased?

Thanks in advance if anyone has a fix for this!
