2006 range rover key issue
Hi,
I have a 2006 range rover hse. I was in the process of changing the battery, and while doing so the chip/motherboard fell out. I didnt think much about it, put it back in the key and changed the battery and closed it.
The buttons were already not working, so I put the key in the door handle and opened the car. Usually when I put the key in the ignition slot I would hear a click and the alarm would stop chirping. But now when I try, it doesn't do that and the key wont turn.
I am concerned because this is the only key for the vehicle and I am not sure what to do. Any advice, help, or links would be very much appreciated.
