Greetings Land Rover family. Looking for some assistance. I have a 2013 Land Rover LR4 with dealer installed daytime running lights (fairy lights) mounted in bumper. Earlier this year the truck was hit and sat in the body shop for month. When I picked it up the fairy lights came on when I started the truck as designed. However later that day they went out. On and off issue has been happening since. Lights are wired the way they were when dealer installed. Is there anyway to reactivate the lights without a scan tool and an expensive trip to the dealer who may tell me all kinds of lies? I know other things can be reset (like key fobs and one touch windows etc.) With a series of ignition on and off switches or battery cable removal etc. Can anyone help.

 

Have you gone thru your service menu and checked for lights?

 

Hi. Thank you for the response. Yes. I have checked the manual, unfortunately it says nothing about the fairy lights. I'm assuming that's because it is a dealer installed item and not from initial production.
