Default Leak discovered while draining oil.

2006 LR3 SE 4.4 V8. I discovered a leak as I was loosening the oil drain plug. I believe it’s coolant…I’m new to all things Land Rover and need any advice I can get. Thanks!

The factory coolant is pink, and leaves a pink/red stain. If that’s coolant somebody swapped in different coolant or mixed it. Check your tank up top to see what color it is. The drip in your photo almost looks like the power steering fluid they use.

There are several plastic piping bits that deteriorate over time and crack. Pull the plastic engine cover. If you’ve got the pink coolant any leaks on top will be very visible. That’s where I’d start.
