Default Leaking Gear box adjustment lock nut

Thanks for reading my post. I have a leak coming from the power steering gear box at the top. RAVE tells me this is the sector shaft adjustment lock nut with seal. Is there anyway to stop this leak temporarily until I can get it taken care of? Maybe back that thing out and put some silicone around it or something? I am guessing the seal is gone, can I get a new seal or is that not an option and I need the whole gear box? This is my 2000 Discovery 2 and I love her. Thanks for any suggestions or comments.
