I recently replaced front hubs and thought it wise to replace axle seals while I was in there. The driver's side leaked but the passenger side didn't. After reassembling everything I found the pass. side leaking. I figured I mussed somethong up and replaced again with another new one. This one leaks too and I know it is installed correctly. I did some forum research to find I am not the first or only. I found the right diameter circlip to use as a spacer. The thickness is 2mm. I would prefer it was 1mm. Any thoughts regarding my proposed spacer fix? And to the 2mm issue?

I see I misinterpreted the cause of seal leak- not a positioning issue, but the seal inner diameter. My spacer fix would probably just have created another problem. But still no solution- did anyone ever find a supplier with correct size seal?
