Default Looking for a good repair book..A How To

I'm looking for a good how to repair book for a 1999 Disco-1. Something like a Chiltons or Hanyes. Anyone know where to get one?

The best information resource is the RAVE, it is the factory Service Manual.
Found here land rover service factory manual RAVE download land rover resource, service manual, workshop factory manual, download, rave, vehicles including discovery, series, defender, range rover, freelander, LR3, Handbooks, Catalog, Catalogue, Land Rover Inte
The frustrating part about Haynes Manuals is when they tell you to take it to a dealer because an operation is beyond the capability of the average DIY. About the only thing Haynes is useful for is Torque Specs. Everything else you can figure out yourself. The RAVE is free, get it anyway even if you find a Haynes.

I guess I'm lucky, because I never ran across a problem so bad haynes said to go to the stealership.

Haynes doesn't make one for land rovers.

And for extended fun, also save the RAVE to a USB drive that you keep in the truck - can come in handy at lunch time at the office, at the friend's garage, or an indy shop in east boondock
