Default Loss of power steering

Hello, I recently had a whining noise coming from the engine area. After a little research, I figured out it was to do with power steering. So took it to fixer and they replaced the power steering pump. Whining noise fixed...great!

Since then I have been having issues whilst driving of loss of power steering. At first it was just when I would break to almost a stop and the steering would be very stiff but drive again and it would be fine. Now sometimes I can feel a stiffness whilst actually driving and going round a bend but it's intermittent. And then the latest is breaking to almost a stop and the steering litterally locks up and can't turn it at all but then put foot onto accelerator and fine again. Seems to be getting worse.

There is no ryme or reason to when it dose it. At first I thought it was when the car was cool and just needed warming up but sometimes it happens now when I have had a few stop start journeys and the car hasn't had time to cool down. It just does it randomly but when it starts it will persist for that whole journey and when get to my destination, I stop the car do what I have to and then start again and no problem at all.

Anyones thoughts would be appreciated!

My car is LR2 automatic 2008 module, just standard engine size I believe.
