Default lost keys

The keys to my daughters 2000 Discovery 1 have been lost and she lives on Easter Island Chile where there is no Dealer of any discription! What is her best option to get the thing running? Thanks.

Someone needs to call a dealer with the vehicle vin, ask the service manager for the vehicles key code number, have a blank key cut for her and send it to her.

no it does not. the engine will start with a regular key.

just lock and unlock the door and you will be fine to start it.

program the remote on a discovery two only. the key itself will start the vehicle.

actually have them send her two regular keys instead of the remote keys. it will save them money if they are wrong and you wont waste the remote.
