I have a 2001 Discovery II SE7 automatic with 135,000 miles. The local dealer just gave it the 120,000 service and within a couple of day it had a strange judder/vibration on acceleration and deceleration. I took it back to the dealer who after a couple of hours said it was the transfer casing and would cost $4K to fix. After revisiting them it was fine for a couple of weeks and now it is juddering again! It feels like its coming from the transmission, the oil level has been checked and is fine. Does anyone have any ideas?
