Sorry to all, I posted a thread on the LR3 link but thought my info would be better utilizied here . . . .

My problem . . . system fault message would appear, then the message "transmission options unavailable" would show up and "shut off" the terrain response options, only allowing normal driving mode to function.

It's been at the dealership for a few days diagnosing the problem.

The solution . . . replace the clutch positioning sensor and update the T-case ECU. Cost for the part $245 plus the labor.

On a separate note, I bought the extended warranty but because I bought the truck less than two weeks ago the paperwork hasn't gone through . .. meaning the warranty company has no record of my policy and therefore the Dealer doesn't know how they're going to get paid.

I'm sure we'll work it out to everyone satisfaction, but wanted to post the problem and the solution in the event that someone else experiences the same fault/problem.
