Major ailments in the LR family...
Good day.
Am familiar with the Discovery II suffering of overheating, rain ingress.
From what I read seems the LR3 suffers from transmission problems; What is typical of other members of the LRover family that you know of ? Which to avoid ?
Am trying to replace my Disco2 with a newer Rover but scared about increased complexity and costs of repair parts. Which would you be inclined towards that provides decent reliability, perhaps after taking care of the typical problems ? Prefer something simple, tall, smaller engine, no Range Rovers. Or keep mine in good shape ?
