Metal On Metal/Grinding sound while in gear...
I was driving on the freeway down in Colorado City and I heard what sounded like a rock hitting the side of the truck (could've been but not sure). I let off the gas and waited a second and then stepped on the gas again and felt a slight vibration. I let off the gas thinking that it was possibly the road I stepped on the gas a little harder and felt more of a vibration. I immediately exited the freeway (at a Shell gas station) and parked the truck. I slowly drove around the parking lot and heard a 'grinding' or 'scraping' sound when in Drive and Reverse. However, when I was in motion I put the vehicle in Neutral and heard no odd sounds.
Can anyone suggest a reliable and reasonably priced Land Rover mechanic in the Northern Denver area?
Thank you

So have you crawled under and looked for any damage? Has your front drive shaft been replaced, if not do that first and see what happens, in the mean time don't drive it or get it to a mechanic.
Let us know what you find.
