Default Need a GAP IID Tool or other Diagnostic tool for LR3 in Washington DC / Northern VA

I need to troubleshoot an air suspension fault and would be grateful if someone had a tool in my area that they can let me use. I live in Alexandria VA.

Thank you

GAP IIDTOOLS are locked to VIN.....might be worth a run to a local Indy shop.

They still have quite a bit of functionality without being unlocked for that VIN. It can still scan all the ecu's just can't program.

No worries, have helped out others on more than one occasion with pulling codes and clearing them as well.

To be honest there is no way I would DD one of these without it in my glove box it's such an asset.

So with the diagnostic tool you can only read the fault?

not clear or calibrate/program?

If you have GAP IID that is unlocked to your vin. You can read, clear, calibrate, reset adaptive values, program keys, flash updates, etc etc etc

New terminology. So if I had a gap tool I could do all of those things if it was unlocked to my VIN. Why would you buy one that is not unlocked so you can read, calibrate, and clear faults?

He means that you can not use just any IID Tool, like barrow one. You need one that is assigned to your VIN. Or you need to find one that has a full unlock, something a shop would have because its not cheap. If you get a used one, GAP can reassign your VIN to it for a fee.
