I'm cynical too and yes-- this has crossed my mind. The dealer however sold us a lemon last year-- and he seems very remorseful this occurred again. But yes, he's a salesman and can put on a good face. I'm starting to think he's buying crappy cars and it's not just that I'm "jinxed" with Land rovers. I live in a small town with few choices. I'm just trying to do the best thing. I appreciate your advice. I'm not nieve at all-- highly frustrated.

I bet you are frustrated - I've been there with newer Rovers and it sucks. You pay good money for a vehicle and think you are getting a good product, but the newer Rovers can be expensive to own and maintain if you get one that's not been looked after.

Have you ben to the Green Oval guys in Portland?

No-- we took it to Freeman motors in Bend-- they updated a control module and thought that would be enough-- tried to get back to Bend and limp mode 45 miles outside Portland so towed it back to Bend as I had to work and have small kids. So now it's at Outland motors in Bend, OR
