Default New 00 Disco Owner- minor issues

Just bought a 00 Disco, love it even with some issues it has. When i bought it i tried to put the transfer case in low but it would not go in. I followed the steps to do it but it seemed to be stuck. Any ideas? Also it has a few leaks but i can see where they are coming from so im not to worried about those. At cold start i can hear what sound like water sloshing around the foot end of the passenger side. Any input would help, thanks!

Water sloshing is air in the cooling system going thru the heater core. You may be able to purge air, but you may also have overheating, cracked block, or blown head gasket. The purge is the bleeder valve on th radaitor hose "T", donne when cold.

You can buy a $50 test for exhaust gas in coolant.

Great info, thanks! Any suggestions on the issue with the transfer case?
