Default New Disco Owner 2003 - A Few Questions (or a lot)

First off.....this board/forum has been a blessing the last 5 months since becoming a Disco owner. That being said, I decided it was time to register and go full nerd as an enthusiast

I bought a 2003 Discovery SE this last September - See Ad below - The goal was finding a rig with great guts, even if the body wasn't perfect.....but that was the sacrifice I was willing to make for a $6k investment knowing I would be solid on the road and in the mountains. I also bought this knowing the TLC it takes, I love working on vehicles......so it seemed like a great idea (no regrets at all)

There is a scrape down the passenger side (low) through both doors and the back quarter panel that I will address in a year or two. This happened in 2014 sometime and the original owners decided to total it out and the shop mechanic bought it from the insurance company since they knew the car well and did all the work. No Core Damage or frame damage, all cosmetic.

One month in I replaced the drive shaft as recommended by the original owner and planned the o2's as recommended by original owner. Around this time I had a bad fuel injector and vacuum leak which pinged codes that lead to a blown head gasket which sucked (I think that's how this all went down at least, or the original owner knew something I did not). I was driving when I shouldn't have been before my appointment at the shop anyhow.....long story short, don't drive on CEL I still had codes after all this was done....which was my o2's, once replaced I have not had a CEL the last 4 months while rallying this thing all over the Cascade Mountains in HEAVY SNOW this year. I drive over the pass every weekend to my families cabin where we snowmobile and rally on the logging roads. This thing has been unstoppable on the roads and gets good gas mileage. I also dropped new heavy treads on original wheels for the winter.

I replaced all 4 o2 sensors myself at home along with re-running all the hosing for the wiper fluid along with soaking and cleaning the nozzles (one was plugged)

Around the New Year I hit some black ice and had a little fender bender, my ARB took 95% of everything...thank god. Insurance got me a new ARB bumper, which I upgraded and added some light cannons along with the IPF's. At this same time I upgraded the battery to the biggest that would fit, increasing my CCA by 400 along with a larger reserve. I also re-ran all the fog log wiring and mounted 2 independent switches on the left side panel after some customizing. I also installed front and back Garmin drive cams, new power outlets in the back seat and hard wired a 1000w power inverter under the seat.

Current Rig as of last week

Question #1 - Radiator, Fluid & Hoses
I blew a small leak in my radiator hose 2 days ago just below the reservoir that squirted directly onto the back firewall. I figure this is now a good time for a full flush and refill
a. I have read my eyes red on Orange Dex-Cool (currently inside) or switching up to G-05 or PEAK Global etc etc. I would like to just keep with the Orange stuff as recommended by Land Rover, unless someone can logically suggest otherwise. My reservoir never gets low (besides recent cracked hose) and I don't see any buildup or sludge in any hoses. Engine runs cool and smooth. I know this is a touchy subject, just clear concise Yes or No's
b. What hoses should I replace? I don't mind preventative spending, it's cheap insurance.
c. Should I use "water wetter" with any or all of the Antifreezes?
d. Can I use the Pre-Mixed "Orielly's Brand" OAT Dex-Cool Antifreeze if this is the decision, or is there other brands that are better? Same chemical makeup as the XLC right?
e. New thermostat? Recommendations?
f. I found a video that says to hold the reservoir high while filling until the bleed screw comes out solid then screw back in and lower back in place, fill reservoir as needed to the fill line?
g. Do I need a new reservoir cap? I feel like I kept reading that you need a new cap
h. 3rd party temperature gauge? I have read also on these forums about the LR gauge not being reliable? Suggestions on 3rd Party gauge with easy install?

Question #2 - NEW CEL
Due to question #1 issue, later in the day I CEL on P0150. From what I've read this in the Front passenger side o2 (just replaced 2 months ago). I immediately thought that this had to be because of the antifreeze leak and spraying all over, possibly corrupting the o2? I have read on the forums the last day that it is possible for the connectors to get filled and malfunction?
a. Do I need to buy a new o2 sensor? Or just clean this one? What cleaner does one use?

The next day I get a new CEL after clearing the codes, and now I have a p0174 added to the p0150
b. Is p0174 most likely related to the p0150 code? Or am I looking at another vacuum leak like the aforementioned fuel injector issue early on?

Sorry for the long post - I just have the weekend ahead of me dedicated to nerding out on the vehicle and getting things dialed in. Any and all suggestions come with a massive thank you from me

I am also planning on doing the differential and transfer case fluids along with the tranny. If anyone has any suggestions on fluids/parts needed for this or links to other posts feel free to fire them off.......I am a rookie here in a pile of info

Spark Plugs & Wires might make the list as well
- Bosch Fine Wire Platinum ok?
- 7mm plugs ok?
- Coils?

Ok I am done
