Question Newbie Here Need Help...

Not sure if this is the right thread...

But I am looking at buying a 99 Discovery SD with only 80,000 miles on it. He is asking $5000, and it seems like a good deal to me... I am an old jeep guy myself, so I really don't know alot about rovers. So...

What problems do I need to look for when I give it the "once over"...
What are common problems with that model...
Is that a good price...

Thank you for your help in advance!

oil and coolant leaks. make sure all the doors lock with the remote. make sure the radio works, the brakes are good. the driveshaft isn't loose.

is it a winter or southern cars.

in areas with high use of salt the frames like to rust out.
