Default Oil change Help, please

I'm doing an oil change on a Freelander, is it necessary to drill out the pop rivets on the bottom pan, or is there another way of taking the pan off? Any help or suggestions?

Look at the skid plate and you will see 2-10mm bolts at the rear, one on each side; 4-13mm bolts at the rear, two on each side; 2-13mm in the front, one on each side; 2-philips screws in the front, one on each side, and depending on the year, two more screws on each side in the front attaching to the bumper. Remove all of these and out comes the skid plate. However, most people choose to just cut that plastic portion off where it covers the filter and drain plug.
