Orlando Land Rover Enthusiast needs help.
Hello all,
I own 2 Land Rover Disco 2001/2003. Wanted to know if anyone on this board lived in the Central Florida Area?
My 2001 Overheated yesterday, 147k miles, has 3 amigos and maf needs to be replaced (per Autozone) Up until yesterday has been running great. I pulled over immiediaty let it cooled and filled it up with water and drove it back home (3 miles). No coolant leaks or smells. I am thinking of ordering a thermostat and hoping that cures it. What do you all think?
The other is a 2003 DISCO 145k miles had head gasket replaced about 8 months ago. The shop I took it told me in order to stop the CLICKING?Tapping noise I was hearing I had to spend 2k. After doing the entire head/gasket job 2 weeks later the noise came back. So I replaced the passenger side oxy sensors, the noise went away again for about a month. They came back and once the motor warms up the noise comes back. (sounds like a diesel truck honestly) Surprisingly runs good and gets me about 320 miles to a tank. Am I killing my truck by not addressing these sounds? Is it the drivers side OXY/Sensor or the cats? No codes on my dashboard.
Looking for help?
