What is wrong with the old engine?
Why a new 4.6, short or long block, they are worth more then the truck. Why not find a good used one and save some money?

The old block has cracked liners, low oil pressure, and smokes like a goodun. Its covered 124000 miles and half of that on lpg. Priced up a replacement against rebuild and new top hat linners and new is cheaper.
