Default Pictures?

Can anyone send me pics of the inertia switch, and fuel pump relay? I just purchased this 98 and it wont start. I do NOT have any pressure on the fuel rail. I cant hear the pump running in the tank . So I did a quick search on here and found to check these things first. The Rover has 121K on the clock. Thanks in advance.

The inerita switch is right on the fire wall next to the 2 heater hoses, the relay is over between the battery and coolant bottle.
The fuel pump is designed to only run for 3 or 4 seconds after turning the key, then it goes off.
Why don't you start by telling us about your tuck, mileage, last tune up, when was the fuel filter last changed and exactly what it is doing wrong.

Well... I dont know much about it. I just bought it from my uncle. He had it for a year or so. The only thing in know about it.... we put rear brakes on it when he bought it, it has a new alternator and belt. He was driving it.... then it wouldnt start. It has 121,000 miles. Body is in great shape. All I know now.. is that there isnt any fuel in the fuel rail, and it wont start. I did take the air cleaner off and sprayed some gas in the tube and it tried to start... so I know its a fuel issue.

The unit on the left is the inertia switch and the relay module is on the right. Mike told you where they were located in the engine bay. Should you find you need one, I have plenty of good ones used.

Or you could use an old fashioned dvom and find out if the pump is getting power and ground. Thats alot better then throwing parts at stuff. Plus the pump is really easy to get access.

DVOM is a Digital Volt-Ohm Meter, or multimeter.

/might have saved you a Google lookup, or spelling mistake assumption.

LOL... I'm an electrician. I do have a good old fashion DVOM. I'm gonna be working on the Rover this week and see what I come up with. Thanks.

If all else fails, a firm whack with the 3/4" conduit bender...

Okay.. here is what I found. First of all... the fuel pump access panel is not under the rear passenger seat. It's under ther carpet close to the rear door. I was a little worried at first. I was thinking I was going to have to drop the tank. Anyway... I unplugged both wire connectors, and tested for power on the connector with 3 wires. I tested for power between the black and red? I have NO idea what wires to test between. As soon as the key was turned on I got 5 ish volts between the red and black. What wires should I be testing? And what voltage should I have? I'm assuming 12V DC. I dont hear anything running, buzzing from the fuel pump when I bump the starter. Thanks.
