Default plug wires trouble

I changed the plug wires cap and roter on my 95 disco. Dist cap wouldnt seat so i put the old back on but opted to change the wires . Now it wont start. Its getting fuel (I can smell it starting to flood), but weak spark .
Coil(?)is my guess, but i did finsd a fuse blown under the dash . The fuse block under the hood shows all fuses to fuel pump and injectors fine . Could the plug wires be wrong , 7mm and yes i checked the firing order 15 times . ???? any ideas ???? it cranks fine and almost wants to come too life but nothing... Endshock

Maybe check the dist cap connection. Thats the main thing you changed, perhaps dist cap not seating had something to do with it.

Those distributors are pretty weak and will fail, especially when you tug on the rotor to remove it.

They are not cheap, and I hate to have you spend a bunch on my hunch but they have had their problems. If you go that way, make sure to shop around on-line for the different ones and prices. If you have any question, get back to me.
