Possesed door locks!
HI Everybody! I am the proud owner of a 2000 Rhino Edition Range Rover. Here is the scope, I can be driving, and or sitting and the doors will lock and unlock randomly for no apparent reason, sometimes many times in a matter of seconnds. This also occours while the vehicle sits unoccupied. This seems to affect the tail gate as well as it only works sometimes. I took it to a local garage that has a good rep with Land Rovers and they replace the on board computer for 1200 and said that it would be fixed, the next day it was locking and unlocking again as before. I took it back and they said SORRY, This is just one of those things!!!!! Hit or miss deal! I had them replace the door latch and they could not get the Key to sync with the new door latch and the locks are still doing the same thing!!!!! I think it is a bad door latch, but I am not sure if it is the drivers side or not! The remote has not worked since they put in the new computer!!!!! Any advice would be greatly appreshiated!
God Bless!

Kenny,
This is Dealer territory. To replace A BeCM you must have Test Book or the equivalent. The fact that they can not sync up your remote goes to show that they are not capable of repairing your vehicle.
