Default Possessed steering

Hi

This is what happened to steering wheel whilst driving. Luckily my partner was only driving slowly and was able to get the car to the side of the road. Dread to think what would have happened of he got on the motorway...

Mainly putting it up here as I'm worried it might happen to someone else... esp as Landrover don't seem to want to look seriously into it!!

similar happened with our B*W here not with a LR though , a sensor that controls the steering's electronic box was faulty. but did the tyres turn on yours ? we got the turn and stop ,but the wheels did not move .... a sensor was changed ,no problems since i think the name of it was something like " tilt angle sensor " check with other experts ..it was some years ago for me .....
