Default Power steering pump

I am hearing a noise that seems to match up when i turn and when i rev the motor. It did it on my mom's van and it was fixed with replacing the power steering pump. Anyone had this noise/problem. i can't really describe the noise.

Have you ever changed the fluid? If not get back to me and I'll tell you how to flush it out.

I am interested in changing my fluid also.I understand how to bleed the system - but how do you get the
old fluid out. Is it a simulare procedure for the ACE fluid?

Just got my 2000 disco last week and this is my first post. Will be going through all the required maintenance over the next
month - will probable have a lot more questions. Will have to look into the front propeller shaft issue next.
This forum has already provided me with a lot of information.

How many miles on your truck?Brakes are easy to flush out, power steering and ACE are a little harder but not by much.
Let me know when you get ready to do some of this and I'll walk you thru iy.

I have 135000 KM (85000 miles). Thanks for the offer, I will let you know when I'm ready.
From the records I got with the truck it looks like it was mostly serviced at the LR Dealer, but
I know this doesn'tensure all the service was done.
