Pure curiosity... adding a turbo to a v6 LR3?
This is purely for conversations sake as I have a laundry list of other things i'm working on with the rig. But I was doing some reading and noticed that its pretty common for people to turbo the 4l ford V6 in many different models. I suppose my question is how different is the engine in the rover from those? I have heard they have a higher compression rating. Is this even possible or would the rover simply keel over and die from the computers telling it doomsday is here. If I were to actually do this I would run very little boost just for a little more umph at the higher rev ranges. Also "possibly" improved fuel economy. I know some people used a STS kit to turbo their v8 lr3's but never heard of someone doing it to a 6. And yes i'm sure it would cost more than what I payed for my rig.
Any comments appreciated!

Physically, the only real challenge is space/room for the turbo(s).
Next, does anyone make lower compression pistons, or is it possible to use thicker head gaskets(and are those even available).
And most importantly, what is the stock ecu capable of in terms of air/fuel ratio adjustments?
I'm sure Hennesey could build it for you, but as you said, probably cost more than the truck.
