Question about Codes for a Disco II
New to the board and just bought a 2002 Disco.
So I have the Tres Amigos(praying there is a RECALL on this in the future).
Disco is still driveable and I'm getting an extended warranty on the vehicle. Do the codes come up with a date on when they were tripped? I'd like the ex. warranty to pick up the tab, if you know what I mean? I know I will have to get the codes scanned to get exactly what is wrong. I'm just wondering if the dealer will say a no go because the code was activated before the ex. warranty effective date? The warranty states that it will cover ABS related issues, obviously not wear and tear on the brake system itself.
I'm really trying to learn as much as possible on this vehicle. Love the Ride!
