Radiator, AT & Oil cooler line replacement
That makes sense to me. This is why I was thinking the aux cooling fans were important to be operational, especially at idle or at slower speeds when temps are hot. I'll check out their site and see if I can find used fans. Thanks again for the suggestions.
Start small. The fans kick on when a certain temp is reached or the A/C is on. Start there with some inexpensive versions and then work your way to the radiator. If it has been acid flushed and doesn't leak, it may be too far gone, but do the fans first to confirm. They do most of the work while idling. Also, check to see they are wired correctly. One contributor here discovered that a prior owner had wired them backwards and they were pushing air away from the rad rather than towards it.
Also, you will get more eyes if you post this in the D1 section of this site rather than the 'general' section.
Finally, although your user name makes it pretty clear, it is always best to put the year and type of truck in your signature line so folks can better understand.
