Default Rear wheel speed sensor 2002 Disco II

Greetings all,

This is my first post as a new member and first effort at a DIY repair as a new owner of a 2002 Discovery II.

A friendly mechanic ran the code on the "3 amigos" and it came up rear driver's side wheel speed sensor. I ordered the part and installed the sensor with no problems.

Was interested to know if the two leads are interchangeable since they are not marked in any way?
Also, will I have to take it in to have the warning lights reset to get hem off?
I am not convinced the ABS is working properly as I can not get the brakes to "pulse" when I romp on them, however, it did take 6 tries to break a tire free and that only on very smooth, brand new pavement.

Any thoughts are will be greatly appreciated.

The code needs to be cleared. If it comes back, it's not fixed!

If you stomp on the brakes and the car skids, than the ABS is not working.
