Rover Classic Starting Problem Help!
Hi, I have an 89 Range Rover classic. I am having a problem getting it started. I jump it to get it started and then let it run for a long time to recharge the battery. Then I turn it off and it has no problem starting right up. Then the next morning I will go out to test it again and it on clicks cause it doesn't have enough power to start. I just bought a new battery and that seemed to work for awhile but then over the last week I haven't driven it because of christmas, and now the same problem is back. Any help is much appreciated !! Thanks
You can't recharge an old battery by letting the engine idle for a bit. It takes usually 2 hours on a charger assuming your battery can be fully recharged.
Go to a local auto parts store and get a free battery load test and be ready to shell out some money before years enf for a new one.
