RR evoque humming noise

I just purchased a 2013 Evoque. I have noted that sometimes after I park there is a humming noise coming from the left back wheel well. It stops after a few minutes. What is this noise? Is it a potential problem?

I'm not familiar with the evoque, but what you describe is the sound of the air compressor.
