What is the alternative of going to the dealership if I run out of fuel in my 2001 discovery II 4.0SE?

 

My money would be on filling the tank back up..


Unless you care to elaborate on the problem, that's the only real advice.

 

Filling the car with gas is obvious. I've been told that there is an electronic reset that needs to occur once there is no fuel. Can you elaborate on what that reset is and how to do that without going to the dealership?

 

Be more specific, what do you mean by running out of fuel.
Do you have a check engine light, does it start then stall, how hard is it to restart?????????????????????????????????
