92 county, driving down the road and it feels like its running out of gas but its not, punch it and it will run ok, then no power in the pedal, shift to low 2 and it runs good ? any suggestions? almost like it has no power, but starts fine idles fine....but ?

 

So, what have you checked so far, when was it last tuned with cap/rotor along with wires, what octane gas are you using and when did you last change your fuel filter.

 

check fuel pressure?
how old is the fuel filter?
check for rust at the fuel rail by taking the lines off--these oldies but goodies are prone for rust and heavy debris getting into the injectors

 

well my second alternator in 5 weeks was the problem, it was putting out very low voltage to none casuing all the problems, when it was running good i was gunning it....increase in voltage output. the fuel system, rails, filter etc has not been checked since i owned it 2 months, i have been dealing with many more issues on it first which the extensive list is coming to a close and regular maint is soon to begin....thanks everyone

When you add cleaner to a engine you should run it till it get`s hot , it`s popular to it injector cleaner when your going to travel because the injectors and the engine gets really hot burn off the carbur builted -up.
