I'm looking to buy a scan tool and would like a recommendation for any model that can show live VVT cam data and show if O2 sensors are within spec. I had previous issues with my VVT's and the mechanic used a dealer computer to show a graph of the VVT's. They are supposed to be in sync. Also, wanting to know how to see if O2 sensors are ok even if a check engine light hasn't detected it going bad.

 

Any capable scan tool should be able to show live data and graph it. The GAP tool is generally great for Rovers, but I'd contact them asking about your specific model and VVT data.
The Autel AP200 is a much cheaper option that can do most everything the GAP does except for programming modules. But again, I'd contact them re VVT data. I've never had the need for that specific data so can't comment on whether it's available or not with either of those options.
