Scangauge

Also look at the Ultra Gauge, it shows live data, you set the display, it reads and resets engine codes, and has alarm points so your attention is demanded when needed. $69.
Some also buy a Bluetooth obdii adapter and a cheap app for the smarty phone and go that route. I would point out that you are depending on phone being charged, phone in the truck when someone else is driving, phone not being used by kids in back seat, and explaining to Deputy Fife that you really were not texting while driving....
The curse of Rover instruments is that they were designed to keep people away from the service shop. So no oil gauge (it is not an OBDII function either), no voltage gauge (scanners/ ultra gauge can show volts to OBDII port, which is very close), and coolant temp will show 50% from about 130-240. Now I'm old school, I want to know if I'm driving along at 217 at 50 mph on a flat road. I'll make the decision, not some programmer for Bosch in a cubical.
