Should I go for a rover disco?
ok so here is my situation,
my dad bought a 99 disco II new in 99 when i was like 8 or so
i have since gotten a couple cars (see signature), and worked on them extensively (mostly the saturn, the bimmer is a champ)
the landy has about 150k, single owner (dad), has been to the rover clubhouse throughout its life, needs a headgasket. we had it all that time and up until now the only thing thats gone wrong (besides regular wear and tear type repairs) was the alternator
i would essentially get it by exchanging him the 95 Saturn with 100k for the landy and i would have to do all the repairs necessary. as of now it is only the headgasket. but i will post if there is anything else wrong with the disco.
with this information, what are y'alls opinions about getting this disco? should i just keep the saturn as a dd or try for the disco? my bimmer is capable of being a dd its just premium gas and everything that goes with a 22 year old car. i have access to a good garage with plenty of tools and jacks.
any and all advice/opinions would be a huge help! i love that car and want to add it to my growing fleet of vehicles!
thanks guys
patrick

thanks landzu, do yall use the owners manual or a bentley manual?
http://www.bentleypublishers.com/lan...02-Manual.html
is the ten year part replacement a big one? i mean brake lines are a pain, and i bet there are some other serious parts...
