Default something in key ignition

I have a 2003 Range Rover, I think a little bean from a ashtray fell in the ignition, sometimes the key will not turn, so i take a nail file and move it back and forth untill the key will turn, what do I do now, do not leave anywhere near a Land Rover Dealership, does anyone have a solution for me? If I were to find a key barrel could I still use the same key for it I have now?

call a locksmith, maybe he can clean it for you. But if not the dealer can order the lock assembly and from there you can replace it without programming.
