Default son of a..... vibrating discovery 2

I fixed the amigos on my 01 Disco2 se7. I'm driving to work in the rain enjoying the view from where I'm sitting, no amigos in sight. And i feel this weird vibration. It only happens when I have the gas pressed (accelerating) and when I'm coasting the vibration is gone. I checked the forums and people with similar problems have said the front driveshaft. I was rolling at about 15mph, threw it into neutral and reved the engine, and it sounded healthy. Once i got off work i crawled under the truck and checked the front shaft for play, which i didnt really find any. I tried rotating, shimming, twisting tugging on the front drive shaft and it seemed pretty solid. On my way home from work, it got so bad I could barely go above 30mhp. I could go faster down hill but with horror stories of propshafts being thrown into transmission cases and destroying everything in their path, I decided to take it easy. Before I take it into my mechanic this week, am I looking at a new or rebuilt drive shaft? Is there anything else it could be? It only started doing this since the ABS system was fixed, and the lights turned off .

I just read your other post where you said ABS wasn't fixed yet. Maybe you just forgot to update the thread but I for one would appreciate it if you wrapped up your ABS thread with a good, solid conclusion so that it will be useful to those who are searching for info. But I'm curious as to what happened, regardless. 'Preciate'chu
